The Jammu Kashmir Police claimed to have three persons with arms and ammunition in Malpora area of Mir Bazaar in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday.
In an official communique, the police said that on the basis of specific information regarding the movement of “Anti-National elements”, the Police in Kulgam along with 1 Rastriya Rifles of Indian Army and 46 BN of CRPF established Naka at Malpora Mir Bazar Crossing, Qazigund.
During the Nakka checking, three persons riding a Motorcycle bearing registration No JK 13D-7659 & Alto Car bearing registration No JK13 E-2492 were asked to stop, however they tried to flee from the spot, but they were chased and apprehended tactfully.
The three disclosed their identities’ as Danish Bhat son of Ghulam Rasool Bhat, Aubaid Mushtaq son of Mushtaq Ahmad Mir and Aadil Bhat son of Mohammed Jawal Bhat, all residents of Tral’s Dadasara area
The statement further read that Arms and Ammunitions including, four grenades, four Detonator, one IED, one IED wire, one Ak-47 Short-01, one k-47 Magzine- 01 No and 30 Pistol Round of 09 MM were recovered from their possession.
In this connection Case with FIR No. 243/2021 U/s 13,18,20,38,39 ULAP Act 3/4 & Explosive substance Act 7/25 Arm’s Act has been registered in Police Station Qazigund.
