Twelve Sheep Killed in a Major Cloudburst in Anantnag

In a major cloudburst, Twelve sheep died, and seven others are missing in the upper pastures of the Mathindoo Larnoo area in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Wednesday evening, twelve sheep owned by Abdul Rashid Paswal, Son of Ghulam Deen Paswal, resident of Jjbagli Tehsil Thakar Kote of District Reasi, died of a cloudburst in the area, while seven more are missing.

The dismayed owner of the folk, while talking to The Kashmiriyat, said that he has lost everything after this incident took place on Wednesday evening. “After this shocking incident took place. We have lost everything and are helpless now,” Abdul Rashid said.

They have appealed to District Administration to intervene and provide relief to them so that they can restart their sheep rearing work to fulfill their needs.
