Two cousin sisters from Shopian of Class 7th and 10th went missing from their home in the Shopian district of South Kashmir.
A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that the Jammu Kashmir Police filed an FIR was registered under section 363 of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station at Zainapora and swung into action to find the missing cousins.
Within twelve hours of the initiation of the investigation, 25 persons were questioned and the girls were recovered from the Srinagar district of Central Kashmir.
The boy arrested in the case is said to be from Srinagar.
Both girls are minor by age and according to reports, the kidnapper has been arrested within 12 hours after the parents filed a missing persons report.
