Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested two students over the allegations of beating a fellow student.
According to Police, two students were arrested for assaulting their fellow students at the University of Kashmir.
The Police identified the duo as Ali Aga of Raj Bagh Srinagar and Burhan Bhat of Qazibagh Anantnag, adding, “They were arrested for beating and grievously injuring fellow LLB student in Kashmir University.”
Police said that an FIR no 86/2023 has been registered under the relevant sections of law and Nigeen Police station.
Earlier, a video had surfaced on social media in which a woman was seen accusing the duo of beating her son who is a junior to the two.
