Six people in Reading, England, were victims of a stabbing spree by a 25-year-old male on June 21, 2020. Three people reported dead after the attack and the other three sustained serious injuries.

The suspect, Khairi Saadallah, has been identified as a Libyan national by the security sources. Sources first considered mental health as a factor in the assault, which is why the police took time to declare the attack as a terrorist incident.

Saadallah is currently under police custody and being investigated by the UK’s Counter-Terrorism Policing unit.

No further suspects are under investigation by the police according to, Neil Basu, the UK Assistant Commissioner for Counter-Terrorism Policing.
