Umar Rashid Wani of Khudwani Kulgam who joined Militancy on 22 May this year is not among the Militants killed at Khudwani Encounter site on Sunday.
Police sources confirmed to The Kashmiriyat that Suhail Ahmed of Hawoora Kulgam, Mudasir Ahmed of Sholipora Kulgam and Abu Muawiya, a foreign Militant were killed in the gunfight.
Groups of media have been wrongly displaying the photos of Umar being one of the slain Militants, however Police clarified that he has not been killed.
Thousands of people have gathered at Sholipora and Hawoora to pay tributes to the slain Militants, Suhail was also offered a gun salute.

Meanwhile Internet and Railway services have been suspended in parts of Kashmir valley.
