Unknown persons snatched a weapon from a Government Force personnel in the Khudwani area of the Kulgam district in South Kashmir.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Sunday afternoon unknown persons snatched an AK 47 rifle from a Policeman deployed near the Khudwani/ Shamsipora crossing in the Kulgam district.
Immediately after the snatching incident, forces in large numbers reached the spot and launched a massive search operation.
Official Sources meanwhile said that the weapons was snatched from constable Mudasir Ahmad, who is a resident of Kulgam’s Devsar area and is presently posted in Police Station Quimoh (located at Wanpoh).
