Water supply to remain shut in Anantnag town, adjoining areas for two days

Various areas of Anantnag town will face a water supply cut for two days, officials said.

In a statement issued to The Kashmiriyat, Public Health Engineering Department of Jammu Kashmir said that the department is carrying out some essential repair works due to which water supply will be cut for 29 and 30th April.

The water supply shall remain shut to entire Anantnag Town and it’s adjoining areas like Ashajipora, Moominabad, Dabruna, Hernag, Khandipari, Danter, Pushwera, Batengoo, Urenhal etc on 29th and 30th of April.

“In order to carry out the urgent repairs of Pipe network at various locations in Anantnag town, the water supply from Bumzoo Filtration Plant. Geral Public is requested to store adequate drinking water in advance for it’s use during the shut down period.
