Sonam Lotus, Kashmir’s Director of Meteorological Department has predicted pleasant weather for Eid ul Adha day (29 June 2023).
He said no rains are expected in Kashmir till June 29, however, there may be slight showers towards the evening time of 28 and 29 June. “Weather is mostly likely to remain pleasantly dry in Kashmir on 29 June,” Sonam said.
Eid ul Adha will be observed in the Kashmir valley on June 29, 30 and 01 July.
The three-day annual festival is observed to commemorate the sacrifice of Prophet Abraham.
