Delhi chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who has been demanding greater powers for the elected Government in Delhi was grilled by the farmers over his support to the abrogagion of Article 370 in Jammu Kashmir by the Modi- led Government on August 05, 2019.
The farmers who have been protesting against the controversial farm bills since months met the Delhi chief minister who has been vocally supporting that the three farm bills be rolled back- which millions of farmers throughout India belive are being imposed to give a free access to wealthy capitalists to India’s agricultural product.

During their meeting with the Delhi chief Minister, the farmers called out the Delhi chief minister for his “dual standards”. The farmers said that on one side he demands a greater autonomy for states in India and on the other he vocally supported the abrogation of Article 370 that eneded Kashmir’s semi- autonomous state.
One of the meeting framers told him, “Why he supported revocation of article 370. Such abrogation only helped easy passing of new farm laws by violating rights of states.”
Millions of Farmers have been protesting on Delhi borders for several months against the Modi- led Government to demand the revocation of the three farms bills introduced by the government.
