A tragic road accident occurred in the Mir Bazar area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday, resulting in the death of a woman
According to officials who spoke to The Kashmiriyat, a vehicle with Ch. NO-37629 collided with another vehicle, registration number JK 18C 7651, near the Eidgah Bumthan bridge in Mir Bazar.
The accident left a pedestrian critically injured.
The victim, identified as Haseena Bano (47), wife of Shakeel Ahmad Rather from Lalan Ganoora, Anantnag, was immediately rushed to the district hospital in Anantnag.
Unfortunately, she was declared dead upon arrival.
The police have taken cognizance of the incident and have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
