A 42-year-old woman died due to electrocution in Akingam village of Achabal, Anantnag district in South Kashmir on Wednesday morning.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, an official said that a woman identified as Fareeda Akhter Wife of Shabir Ahmad Kumar, who is a resident of Akingam Achabal received an electric shock at her residence today morning resulting in serious injuries to her.
She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
