A young man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his home in the Darweshbagh Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Police sources said that the 24-year-old victim (name withheld) was found hanging from a rope in his room. He was taken to Trauma Hospital Pattan where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police said a case has been registered in this regard and efforts are on to know the reason why the victim took such an extreme step to end his life. [KNT]
