A youth on Wednesday afternoon allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Hawal Area of central Kashmir Srinagar district, officials said.
They told the news agency—Kashmir Scroll that a youth (name withheld) who is a resident of Hawal Srinagar allegedly hanged himself inside his home this afternoon.
They said that his family members immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case while further investigations have also been taken up—(KS)
