A Youth from Islamabad township of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district who had gone missing has posed with an Assault AK 47 Rifle.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the family of the youth had filed a missing report in the Islamabad Police station, which was confirmed by the Police officials.
The youth identified as Burhan Ahmed Ganie aged 25 is a resident of SK Colony in Islamabad town outskirts and has a a physiotherapy degree.
A photo available to The Kashmiriyat puts his date of joining as 24 June, that is when he had gone missing from his home.
He has reportedly joined the Militant outfit, Hizb ul Mujahideen.
Figures available to The Kashmiriyat suggest that 240 Militants are active in the Kashmir valley and as evident more and more youth are picking up guns despite intensified Anti Militancy operations by the Government Forces.
