50-year-old Muslim Man Lynched to Death in Bihar

In yet another incident of hate, a 50-year-old man was mob-lynching in the Bhawanipur village in Araria district in Bihar.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Siddiqui, who was thrashed by the mob for allegedly stealing cattle.

The Local Police have said that a bunch of individuals was accused of stealing cows from Bhawanipur within the early hours of Wednesday.

A group of men attacked them and accused them of stealing cows and different animals. The group chased this group accused of the theft. Other than Siddiqui, others managed to flee from the spot.

Forbesganj sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) Ram Pukar Singh stated that the locals thrashed Siddiqui at around 2 a.m. on Wednesday. By the point police reached the spot, Siddiqui was useless, he added.

Though no case had been registered in opposition to Siddiqui in Araria District, Singh stated that there exists a case in opposition to the lynching sufferer at Balua police station.

Police stated that the investigation will probably be carried out and motion will probably be taken accordingly.
