A 13-month-year old girl on Monday died of electrocution while coming in contact with a live wire at her home in Landoora village in Hermain belt area of south Kashmir’s Shopain district.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that 13-month-old baby identified as Zaira Jan,daughter of Nazir Ahmad Line was critically injured when she got in contact with a live wire at her house in village Landoora at Hermain in Shopain on Monday afternoon.

Soon after, she was immediately moved to a nearby hospital for treatment where on-duty doctors declared him brought dead on arrival,
A police official confirming the death of the 13-month-old Zaira Jan told The Kashmiriyat that the girl was handed over to family after conduct of necessary medico-legal formalities.
