Grenade Attack in Sopore, 3 CRPF troopers Injured

September 04 Unknown persons lobbed a grenade on a patrolling party of Central Reserve Police Forces at Sangrama area of Sopore on tuesday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown persons hurled a grenade on a patrolling party of 177 BN of CRPF resulting into injuries to at three CRPF man. A Local informed The Kashmiriyat that a massive explosion was heard creating panic among locals in the area. The Senior superintendent of Police confirmed the incident to The Kashmiriyat and said three CRPF men have sustained minor injuries and have been rushed to the hospital. September 04 A video of Indian and Pakistani army soldiers dancing together at a conference has gone viral, and online users enjoyed watching the camaraderie between both armies. Members of both armies were present at a summit in Russia to participate in the Peaceful Mission 2018, as stated by India-based New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV). Speedy Tipper Crushes Minor Girl to Death in Islamabad (Anantnag)

September 04 A young girl was crushed to death by a speeding tipper at Zaldoora area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) early morning on Tuesday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a vehicle bearing the registration number JK03B 4399 hit a minor girl on the main road in Zaldoora resulting into her on the spot death. She has been identified as Andleep Rashid aged 3 years Daughter of Abdul Rashid, a resident of Zaldoora. As per initial reports, the driver of the tippper managed to escape from the spot. As the news of the accident spread, people came on the streets and started protesting demanding the arrest of the tipper driver. A Police official posted in the area confirmed the news of the accident and said that police is investigating the matter.

September 03 A 46 year old man identified as Bashir Ahmed Reshi has been roughed up and assaulted by Jammu Kashmir Police in police lock up at Utersoo in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Monday. Family of Bashir told The Kashmiriyat that Bashir was arrested by Jammu Kashmir Police after an FIR had been lodged against him in the Utersoo Police station after which he was arrested by the Police.
