October 26 Ummat e Islami Jammu Kashmir on Thursday visited the families of slain civilians and Militants Killed in South Kashmir since Sunday. Ummat e Islami also paid glowing tributes to the slain civilians and the youth killed in separate incidents throughout the Kashmir valley. Waheed Ahmed Khan who was recently elected as the head of the core group of Ummat e Islami led a team of Ummat e Islami to visit the families of slain civilians who were killed in an explosion in the Laroo area of Kulgam. October 26 Two militants were killed in a gunfight at Pazalpora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday morning. Meanwhile, an army soldier Brijesh Kumar who was injured earlier in the initial gunfire succumbed in military hospital here at 92 base Badamibagh, Srinagar. Sources said that two militant were killed in the encounter which broke out after army’s 22 RR, SOG and CRPF 92 bn launched a cordon and search operation in Pazalpora area of Sopore in the wee hours on Friday morning. Officials said that the exchange of firing stopped and the searches has been launched to recover the bodies.The identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained, they said.
