Foggy Morning in Kashmir Valley reduces Visibility

November 23 The Kashmir Valley woke up to a foggy morning  on Friday, leading to poor visibility and affected road traffic in most parts of the Kashmir. Srinagar, the summer capital of the state and many parts of the Valley witnessed dense fog in the morning. It led to traffic jam as motorists drove cautiously due to poor visibility. The Meteorological Department here said the fog was a result of sudden dip in the temperatures and condensation of water droplets in the atmosphere. “This is a normal phenomenon during time of the season,” said a weather office official.

AT least 25 Killed in Blasts in Pakistan

November 23 At least 25 people were killed and 35 injured in a blast in Hangu’s Kalaya Bazar area on Friday morning, reports said on Friday. According to security sources, the blast occurred outside the door of a seminary in Lower Orakzai. The injured have been shifted to a health facility for treatment, reports said. CASO Launched by Forces in Tral Area

November 23 The Government Forces on Friday launched a cordon and search operation in Wagad area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Friday, the forces including 42 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police sealed all the entry and exit points to the area. A heavy contingent of forces reached this Pulwama locality and are conducting a search operation in the area, Locals told The Kashmiriyat. Azad Malik Among Militants Killed in Bijbehara Encounter

November 23 A Top commander of Lashkar e Taiba, Azad Malik alias Dada of Arwani area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) district has been killed in the encounter that raged early morning in Sekpora area of Bijbehara. Top Sources told The Kashmiriyat that among the six killed two were over ground workers OGWs of Militants from South Kashmir, They said that the six were affiliates of Militant outfit Lashkar e Taiba. People in large numbers have gathered outside the residence of Basit Mir, who had joined Militant outfit Lashkar e Taiba in August. Basit is a resident of Pushwara locality in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag). Four more Militants have been killed in the encounter.

November 23 Mobile internet services have been barred in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District early morning on Friday after an Encounter raged in the Bijbehara belt of the District. Telecom authorities received a communication from the Officials to bar internet in the District, Telecom officers told The Kashmiriyat. Mobile internet services including 2G, 3G and 4G have been barred in the Islamabad (Anantnag) District.
