At Least 17 Worshippers Killed in Bangladesh Mosque Blast

During Friday night prayers, a gas pipeline explosion near a mosque in Narayanganj district, Bangladesh, killed 17 people and injured dozens with critical burns, officials said on Saturday. Fire service officials suspect the explosion was caused by leakage from the pipeline. According to Dhaka's state-run specialised burn and plastic-surgery hospital's burn unit coordinator, Samanta Lal Sen, 17 people, including a seven-year-old boy, died due burn injuries by Saturday afternoon. A mysterious explosion in Maira Chowkian village of Rajouri district in Jammu division rocked the area late last night following which police started investigation into the matter. 50 Year Old Man from Ganderbal Critically Injured in a Bear Attack

Shah Basit / Rayees Shah On Saturday afternoon, a 50 -year- old man was critically injured in a bear attack in Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir. Official sources said that Mohd Sediq Kumar of Dar Mohalla, Kangan was attacked by a bear when he was working in this field. Officials said, “The Locals heard his cried and rushed to spot, and the bear ran away from the spot. The man was rescued bu the locals and later shifted to Sub - District Hospital - Kangan in critical condition. He was later shifted to SKIMS - Soura, Srinagar for further treatment. 5 Men Allegedly Kidnapped by Chinese Army in Indian Territory

Arunachal Pradesh Police has launched a probe following reports that five people, who had gone hunting in a forest in Upper Subansiri district on the Sino-India border, were allegedly kidnapped by the Chinese military, a senior official said on Saturday. The alleged incident occurred on Friday in Nacho area of the district, their families said. Two others, who were in the group, managed to escape and informed police. “I have sent the officer-in-charge of the Nacho police station to the area to verify the facts and directed him to report immediately. Encounter Rages in Lolab area of Kupwara

An encounter has started between Militants and Government Forces in Dana Behak area of Warnow in Lolab of North Kashmir's Kupwara district. Two Bodies Recovered from Nallah in Gurez

Sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) Gurez Peerzada Ajaz told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that two bodies were recovered from a Nallah in Malangham area of Tulail in Gurez sector today afternoon.
