Scores of employees of Industrial Estate in Sopore town of north Kashmir Baramulla district on Wednesday held a protest over power crises, stating that they suffered huge losses. Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Industrial Estates President Sopore Javed Bhat said that they are facing huge losses due to power crises which are persistent for the last two months. "On an average, industry suffers around 2-3 Crores losses per day. In the absence of power supply, we are now thinking to shift the sector to Jammu,” he added. Weather department here on Wednesday forecast mainly dry weather with possibility of isolated light rain and thunderstorm till July 14 even the minimum temperature recorded increase and decrease at other places in Jammu and Kashmir. Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested two students over the allegations of beating a fellow student. According to Police, two students were arrested for assaulting their fellow students at the University of Kashmir. The Police identified the duo as Ali Aga of Raj Bagh Srinagar and Burhan Bhat of Qazibagh Anantnag, adding, "They were arrested for beating and grievously injuring fellow LLB student in Kashmir University."
