A nocturnal encounter has started between Militants and Government Forces in the Beerwah area of Central Kashmir’s Budgan District.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that RR of Indian Army, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF jointly launched the Anti Militancy operation.
Forces had jointly launched a Cordon and Search Operation in the area upon receiving a specific input about the presence of Militants in the Beerwah area, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.
The troopers have installed search lights over the area, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.
2-3 Militants from South Kashmir are believed to be trapped in the area, they said.
