The Indian Army has said that the 19 RR Kokernag camp organised a Confidence Building Tour to Gulmarg on 31 October 2020.
The CBT was flagged in the presence of Major Bhisham 19 Rashtriya Rifles, a press release issued to The Kashmiriyat read.
As per the official communique, A total of 20 boys of various ages from the Kokernag area and three teachers enjoyed and admired the natural beauty of the place.
“They also visited High altitude Warfare School (HAWS) of the Indian army specializing in snow- craft and winter warfare. It is located in an area that is prone to avalanches. It is one of the most famous warfare academies of the world,” the presser read.
The flagging in culminated with tea and interaction with children and their parents.
“This event will go in a long way to build confidence of the young generation and to broaden their horizons,” the Indian Army said.
