The body of a 25-year-old was recovered in south Kashmir’s Anantnag town on Friday morning.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that locals spotted a dead body lying in the Wazirbagh area after which they informed the local police.
A police team reached to the spot and took the body into its possession, he said.
The Police identified the deceased as Irshad Ahmad Allaie son of Ghulam Nabi Allaie, who is resident of Shaksaz Mohalla in Kadipora area of Anantnag town.
The Police have registered a case in this regard for further investigations.
