Bullet Ridden Body of 22-Year-Old Boy Found in Daksum

A Bullet ridden dead body of youth was found in Behak at Bovie Daksum forest area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag  district on Friday.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a male dead body with bullet wound was found lying in Daksum forest .Soon after getting the information Larnoo police along with Forensic team Anantnag  reached the spot.

Police and forensic team traveled a distance of more than 4 hours on foot to reach the spot where the dead body was found, where Police found a 12 port rifle near the body of deceased and a mark of bullet on his body.

A police official told The Kashmiriyat that the deceased was identified as Muneer Ahmad Chouhan (22) son of late Lal Chouhan, a resident of Gadvail Larnoo. “Body of the deceased has been handed over to his family members for last rites after the completion of legal formalities”, he said.

A case FIR number 48/2020,302 IPC 7/25 IA act has been registered by Larnoo police station and started investigation .
