A student of Aligarh Muslim University was suspended for raising 'Allah o Akbar' slogan during the republic day function at the university. A University student told The Kashmiriyat over the phone that a student Wahid u Zaman from West Bengal was suspended after he raised Allah o Akbar (God is Great) slogan during a ceremony on 26 January at SS Hall (south). He said that the video was shared on social media after which sections of Indian news channels shared the video demonizing the university and its students calling them 'habitual' offenders. 2 IAF fighter jets crash in Madhya Pradesh, 1 pilot dead

An Indian Air Force pilot was killed after two fighter jets -- a Sukhoi Su-30 and a Mirage 2000 -- crashed near Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. While the two pilots on the Su-30 sustained minor injuries, the pilot on the Mirage died after being fatally wounded in the crash, India Today reported. Wreckage of the crashed aircraft was found in Bharatpur in Rajasthan and Morena in Madhya Pradesh. 22 people who were charged with murdering 17 Muslims during the riots of 2002 were acquitted by a Gujarat local court, citing a lack of evidence. The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi late on Tuesday night witnessed stone pelting and clashes when right wing groups threw stones at a group of students watching the BBC documentary on Narendra Modi. In MP, Muslim youth assaulted for talking to Hindu girl

A Muslim college student in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, was slapped and assaulted with sticks by a Hindutva group for conversing with a Hindu female who is his friend from the same college. The computer science master’s student was conversing with a friend about studies and books when a group of Hindutva activists pulled him away and thrashed him severely with sticks.
