January 07 Rayees Shah In a tragic road accident a Municipal Council employee died after hit by speedy vehicle in Central Kashmir Ganderbal on early Monday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Fayaz Ahmed, an employee of Muncipal Council was hit and injured critically by unknown vehicle at Main market Beehama in Ganderbal. January 06 Following a specific input about Militant movement, the Government Forces jointly launched a cordon and search operation in Sopore area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla District. On the Sunday evening, the forces including 22 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to the Lone Mohalla area of Zaloora in Sopore. January 05 A massive search operation is being conducted by Government Forces in Aripal area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District on Saturday afternoon. January 05 A man slipped to death when he was clearing snow on the roof top of his house in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday morning. The deceased was identified as Mumtaz Ahmed of ward 4 in Bandipora town. Ahmad died after he fell down from the roof top of his house when he was clearing snow. He was rushed to Srinagar Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, witnesses said. January 05 Widespread, heavy snowfall has lead to the snapping of air, surface links to Kashmir on Saturday morning. Reports reaching The Kashmiriyat suggest that railway services have been suspended across the Kashmir, while the highway connecting Jammu with Srinagar has been blocked too after fresh snowfall in most of the areas of Kashmir valley.
