5 Injured in Bandipora Road Accident

November 25 Shabir Khan At least five persons were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident in north Kashmir's Bandipora district on Sunday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a passenger bus, bearing registration number JK01C  7451, was travelling from Srinager  to Hajin when it met with an accident at Shahtulpora area of Sumbal North Kashmir's Bandipora district on Sunday. Five passengers were injured in the accident. All the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Militant Killed in Shootout in Khrew Area, 1 Associate Arrested in Pampore

November 25 A Jaish Muhammad Militant has been killed in a brief shootout at Bathin area in Khrew of South Kashmir's Pulwama District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that an unknown Militant of Jaish e Muhammad was killed in a brief shootout with 50 RR and Jammu Kashmir Police at Khrew area of Pampor. A police offical said that a JeM militant who is yet to be identified was killed in an shootout with JK police and 50 RR at Bathin, Arms and ammunition were recovered from the gunfight site, he said. As per initial reports, the slain is a Pakistani Militant. His associate was however arrested by police. He has been identified as Suhail of Khrew, who was was active from last five months,  police said in a tweet.

November 23 Six Militants were Killed in an encounter that broke out  early morning encounter between militants and government forces in Sekipora area of Bijbhera in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district on Friday. November 23 Basit Mir, a resident of Pushwara area in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) has been identified as one of the six Militants killed at the encounter in Sekhama in South Kashmir's Bijbehara area. Machil in Kupwara records 78 Percent Voting at 1 PM

November 20 Machil block of Kupwara district recorded 78% voter turnout  till 1 pm in the ongoing Panchayat Polls in the state. According to officials the total vote cast in Machil were 3475 including 1921 male and 1554 female voters. In Rajwar block the voter turnout till 1 am was 74.9% with 9476 total number of votes cast. Minor Girl Crushed Under a Tractor Driven by her Father in Budgam

November 20 Sajad Hameed A 10-year-old girl was crushed to death after she fell from a tractor and came under it in Raiyar area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district Monday evening. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a girl identified as Zubaira, a resident of Raiyar Khansahab died when she fell down from a tractor was driven by her father, Abdul Hameed Bhat.
