One Person killed, 7 others injured as vehicle falls into gorge in Ramban

One person was killed and seven others were injured when a vehicle fell into a gorge in Ramban district on Sunday. Official sources told GNS that one eco car skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge at Sanasar road in Khud area in Ramban district, leading to on  spot of one person and injuries to seven others. A police officer told GNS that a rescue operation was immediately launched and injured shifted to hospital. He said identity of the dead, as well as the injred, was being established. (GNS)

In Kashmir, at least 11 youth have gone missing in May so far

At least eleven youth have been reported missing from their homes in the Kashmir valley in the first twenty days of May 2022. Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, various families reported the missing reports of their kin from parts of the Kashmir valley. The families also issued an emotional appeal asking their kin to return home. Gusty winds: Two minors rescued from Manasbal lake

The State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) rescued two minor boys who were stuck in Manasbal Lake in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district on Sunday. Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that amid strong winds, two minor were stuck in lake, however, Quick Reaction Teams (ORTs) started rescue operation and evacuated the duo to safe locations. “There is a proper mechanism through which rescue operations are carried out. The bodies of the ten trapped workers have been recovered from the debris of an under-construction tunnel that collapsed near Khooni Nallah area of Ramban on Thursday.
