IED found in north Kashmir’s Bandipora

An improvised explosive device (IED) was found in orchards in north Kashmir's Bandipora district on Saturday. A senior police officer told GNS that the IED was detected by the police and armies of 14 RR in an Orchard in Bagh area. The condition of three soldiers and two civilians injured in South Kashmir’s Kulgam gunfight is stable, the Army said on Thursday. Pertinently, a non-local militant and a cop were killed in Pariwan village of Kulgam in a gunfight that raged between a militant and joint forces on late Wednesday night. NIA Raids Residential House Of Private Teacher In Pulwama

A team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday raided a residential house of a private teacher in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, official sources said. They said that the residential house of a private teacher identified as Farooq Ahmad Wani son of Mum Wani, a resident of Gusoo Pulwama was searched by a team of the probing agency. Official sources confirmed to Srinagar based news agency KDC that searches were carried out in connection with a case already registered at the police station of NIA and some documents were seized during the raid. Man found dead in Kulgam’s Buchroo

Covid-19 resurgence: GMC Srinagar suspends offline classes for MBBS, paramedical courses

Missing youth found hanging in Khanbal

A youth, who was missing since yesterday, was found hanging from a tree in Gurdgund Seepin area of Khanbal in South Kashmir's Anantnag on Monday, an official said. Amid growing Covid-19 cases, Admin orders online classes up to college level; Cap of 25 persons for indoor or outdoor gatherings
