October 15 The Government forces laid down a Cordon and search operation in Ponira area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District on Monday morning. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that RR of Indian Army, SOG 0f JK Police and CRPF laid down the Search Operation jointly. “The Operation was launched after troopers received a specific input about Militant movement in the area,” Sources said. A door to door search operation has been launched in the area.

  October 09 Unknown person late night on Monday set ablaze a Panchayat Ghar at Pinglan area of ​​Pulwama district in south Kashmir. October 07 Two Young cousins have been detained in Redwani area in South Kashmir's Kulgam District and kept under detention in Police Station Wanpoh for the third continuous day. October 06 The Commanding Officer 1 RR Bn on Saturday interacted with village elders including Muqdams, Sarpanchs, school teachers and Awqaf committee members at Redwani Bala in South Kashmir's Kulgam District. October 06 Nearly ten people were injured in dog bite cases in district  Kulgam of South Kashmir on Friday, out of whom one has been referred to Srinagar. People including children were injured during dog biting incidents at Banimulla, Tarigam, Matalhama and Tekipora, Four persons were injured in chadder ban area of Kulgam. October 04 The State Human Rights Commission of Jammu Kashmir has on Thursday directed the Deputy Commissioner and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam to file factual report on the Army camp that has been recently set up in Redwani area of Kulgam district. A Member of the Commission, Dilshad Shaheen hearing the case passed the direction and asked the respondent to file his response before 20-11-2018.
