CASO Launched in Kulgam Area

October 15 The Government forces laid down a Cordon and search operation in Ponira area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District on Monday morning. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that RR of Indian Army, SOG 0f JK Police and CRPF laid down the Search Operation jointly. “The Operation was launched after troopers received a specific input about Militant movement in the area,” Sources said. A door to door search operation has been launched in the area.

Locals from Redwani told The Kashmiriyat that a minor boy identified as Rahil Amin Dar son of Mohammed Amin Dar aged 13, a resident of Astanpora Redwani in South Kashmir was arrested by forces jointly. They said that forces raided the locality late night on Friday and arrested this 7th class student from his house during the nocturnal raid along with his cousin, Mohammed Aslam Dar aged 20. October 04 The State Human Rights Commission of Jammu Kashmir has on Thursday directed the Deputy Commissioner and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam to file factual report on the Army camp that has been recently set up in Redwani area of Kulgam district. A Member of the Commission, Dilshad Shaheen hearing the case passed the direction and asked the respondent to file his response before 20-11-2018.
