A Cotton industry was gutted in an accidental fire at Kugad area of Achabal in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday Morning.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that fire broke out in the Cotton industry of Nazir Ahmad Zagoo on Sunday morning.
The fire got under control with the hectic efforts of fire service team, locals and police, they said.
A police officer said that police is verifying the incident adding that no loss of life or any other injury was reported in the fire mishap.
The reason of the fire as per initial reports was a Short Circuit.
Meanwhile in Kanchloo Kund area of Qazigund area of South Kashmir two residential houses were Gutted in a nidnight fire.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that houses belonging to Gull Mohd Khan Son of Ghulam Hassan Khan ans Mushtaq Ahmad Khan son of Ghulam Hassan khan were damaged in the fire.
The cause of the fire could not be immediately known.
