The Achabal-Chattabal road in Islamabad (Anantnag) district of Kashmir has been left in dilapidated condition.
The Inhabitants of Khundru, Nowgam area expressed dismay over the dilapidated condition of Achabal-Chattabal road that giving tough time to the commuters.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that potholes and cracks have developed on the road, and till date no repairing has been done on the road. “This road is vital as most of the vehicles pass through it and connects dozens of villages to the Anantnag township,” they said.
Abdul Khaliq Bhat, a resident of Utersoo Shangas said that there are multiple holes in the road and its condition is bad, it takes much time for the delivery case to reach the hospital, increasing the risks.
He appealed the administration to repair the road and macadamize it so that the people will not suffer anymore.
Ashiq Hussain of Khundru told that they face difficulties in travelling, appealing the concerned department to start the work on this road without any delay.
