A gunfight has started between militants and government forces in the Czimmer area of Kulgam district in South Kashmir.
An Official told The Kashmiriyat that on Wednesday afternoon a joint team of 09 RR of Indian Army, police, and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Czimmer, Kulgam.
As the forces inched closer towards the suspected spot, the militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
As per the sources two to three militants are believed to be trapped.
