A massive fire has engulfed the forests of the Gulab-Pathri area in Waniyarm Wangath of Kashmir’s Ganderbal District.
Eyewitnesses who are the residents of the area told The Kashmiriyat that fire broke out in the forests and later spread to a vast area, despite the officials trying to douse off the flames.
The locals said that the area under fire is very dense in range.
An official upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat said that the officials and workers of the department have reached the spot and are working hard to control the fire.
