One person has died, while second critically injured in a road accident in the Kandiwara area of Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Islamaad (anantnag) district on Saturday morning.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that Rouf Ahmed Bhat son of Adul Razaq has died when the tractor he was driving skidded off the road in Kandiwara area early on Saturday morning.
He died on the spot, while the person accompanying him has been critically injured in the accident, he is undergoing treatment at the nearby hospital.
The Jammu Kashmir Police has taken a cognizance of the matter and an investigation launched into the accident, a Police official told The Kashmiriyat.
