Male Dead Body recovered in Achabal Area

Waris Shah One Unidentified male dead body was recovered in South kashmir Ranipora Village of Anantnag district on Wednesday Morning. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a few residents spotted the body lying in Ranipora village of Anantnag and immediately informed police about it. Soon after being informed, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body, they said. A Police official identified the dead body as that of Mohammed Yaseen Kiyani son of Barkatullah Kiyani, a resident of Rakhe Brah area in Mattan, Anantnag district. Police have taken cognizance into the death of Mohd Yaseen.

Skinder Gull A gunfight broke out between militants and security in Hakripora area of Kakapora belt in South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Tuesday afternoon. An official told The Kashmiriyat hat a joint team of Police, army’s 50 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the Pulwama area. He said that as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them which was retaliated triggering an encounter. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Musaib Ahmed Bhat son of Mushtaq Ahmed Bhat, a resident of Khrew Area of Pampore in South Kashmir’s Pulwama has been missing from his home. Musaib, a Laboratory assistant at Government Higher Secondary at Ladhoo area in Pulwama, as per his family members, had left home on Saturday morning.
