February 13 Authorities in Manipur have imposed prohibitory orders in Imphal East and Imphal West districts for an indefinite period in view of the continued protests against the Citizenship Bill which is likely to be tabled in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. The capital city of Imphal falls under both Imphal East and Imphal West districts. The prohibitory orders under Section 144 CrPC in the two districts were imposed last night, officials said. Mobile internet services have also been suspended indefinitely. Minor Girl Dies in Road Accident in Pattan

February 13 Shabir Khan A 12 year old girl died in a road accident in Pattan area of North Kashmir's Baramulla District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a passenger vehicle (number JK09 8170) skidded off the main road near Zangam petrol pump on Wednesday morning. This accident lead to the death of one minor girl identified as urba Ahad, daughter of Abdul Ahad sofi, a resident of Arampora in Kupwara district. February 13 Two militants were killed during an encounter at Wathoora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam on Wednesday morning. Officials have identified them as affiliates of Lashkar e Taiba and said they are from the Kulgam district in South Kashmir. Admin Conducts Market Checking in Islamabad (Anantnag) Township

February 12 Tawseef Nazir ADDC of Islamabad (anantnag) along with Secretary Municipal council, Food safety officer and other officials today conducted market checking in various areas of this South Kashmir township. During this checking on Tuesday afternoon, many erring traders were penalized. The checking was aimed at ensuring the quality and price control and to keep vigil on erring traders. February 12 After remaining blocked for seven days, the National Highway connecting Jammu with Srinagar has been reopened for one way vehicular movement. An official said that, On Tuesday, the stranded light-motor vehicles (LMVs) and fuel tankers were allowed to move towards Kashmir valley. At least three thousand vehicles are stranded on the 300 Kilometer long Highway which connects Srinagar with Jammu through a hilly Terrain. The official said that traffic was allowed to move due to the shortage of supplies in the Kashmir valley.
