Road accident took place at Aghanjipora Awantipora new bypass. A truck and a scooty collided, resulting in the death of the scooty driver.
Although he was rushed to the nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
He had been identified as Nazir Ahmad Sofi resident of Muniwar area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, Nazir was an ASI of Jammu Kashmir Police.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
