Sign Boards with Tricolour Mandatory in Government Schools

The Department of School Education in Jammu Kashmir has asked the Government schools to adopt a grey and white color scheme and install a signboard with the Indian tricolour in the background, Deccan Herald reported.

Deccan Herald quoting a senior official said, “The initiative was started in February this year and most of the schools have started working on it.”

The district-wise progress on this activity has to be completed by 30 April and the weekly report has to be submitted to the administrative department as per the report.

The Chief Education Officers (CEOs)across the district of Kashmir and Jammu have to submit the details about the number of schools that have adopted the new initiatives.

The report further said that a deputy director rank officer in the department has been appointed to monitor the district-wise progress of schools in the adoption of the color shades and installation of signboards.
