A 19-year-old girl who had gone missing from her home in Narwani area of Shopian in South Kashmir, just a few hours after Police reunited two cousins with their families in the South Kashmir district on Thursday morning has been traced by Police in Jammu.
An official confirming the news said that the mother of the missing girl had filed a missing report at a local Police station saying that her teenage daughter has gone untraceable since yesterday.
“We have registered an FIR number 10/2021 under sections 363 IPC (at Imam Sahib) and as such a lookout sent to locate the whereabouts of the girl”, the official said.
Pertinently two cousins had gone missing on Wednesday and were found by Shopian police within 14 hours from Srinagar district of Central Kashmir.
