Tourist Cafeteria Goes Up in Flames in Sirigufwara Kashmir

Unknown persons set ablaze a cafeteria of Jammu Kashmir tourism in the Sirigufwara area of Anantnag District in South Kashmir.

Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the tourist reception centre has around seven building, one of them which is a cafetaria was seen in flames when people woke up early morning on Tuesday.

The Locals informed the Fire brigade, who reached the spot along with the Local police of the area, and brought the fire under control.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the most likely cause of the fire could be a short curcuit.

The Local Station House Official Waseem Shah, upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat confirmed the incident and said the fire caused damage to the entire building which has turned into ashes.

He said that Police has registered a case 61/2020 in the regard and further investigation has been launched into the incident.
