The Border Security Force (BSF) has said that two drones were seen coming from the direction of Pakistan which later crossed the International Border in the Samba sector of Jammu Kashmir.

The drones were spotted at nearly 6 pm, following which the BSF troops fired upon them, while the jawans kept a strict vigil.

The first Pakistan drone (UAV), Indian BSF said, was seen flying inside (500 to 700 meters from the border) India’s air space near Border Outpost (BOP) Chak Faqira.

Indian Forces patrolling the Border fired around 80/90 small arms fire towards the drone, but it managed to escape towards Pakistan’s side, the BSF said.

The BSF has claimed that the second drone was found inside Indian territory (about 700 meters) which also came from Pakistan’s side from BOP Chack Faqira (flying at a height of one km).

The is not the first time, the BSF has claimed to have seen or fired at the drones on earlier occasions too.
