Jammu Kashmir Police personnel will soon get American Sig Sauer assault rifles and pistols to carry out anti-militancy operations, officials said. Unknown Persons Steal OHE Wiring of Train in Pampore

Unknown persons have allegedly stolen overhead (OHE) wiring of track operating between Pampore and Srinagar railway stations' on intervening night of January 3 and 4 at Pampore. Official sources told GNS that the wiring was found cut and missing this morning by the authorities. "It couldn't be however immediately ascertained by the authorities as how much of the wiring has been stolen", sources said.
