Shah Basit/ Rayees Shah The dead Body of a one-year-old missing child was recovered from Nallah Sindh at Kullan area of Gund in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday. Police officials told The Kashmiriyat that the body of the 1-year-old identified as Wahid Ahmad Sontra Son of Mukhtiyar Ahmad Sontra resident of Rezan Gund by Police and Locals from Nallah Sindh at Kullan. He was missing since yesterday. A police official said that the body was recovered from Nallah Sindh at Kullan ,adding he was missing since yesterday. Meanwhile, Gund police have registered a case under 174 CrPc and initiated further investigation in this regard.

Three persons have been detained by police in the Chewa area of Bandipora district over accusations of molestation and making of an abduction bid on a local girl on Wednesday afternoon. An intruder was killed by security forces at Dulanja post near LoC in the Uri area of North Kashmir's Baramulla district in the wee hours on Wednesday. ED Conducts Raids on the Office of NewsClick Media

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday morning conducted raids at the houses of officicials and Journalists working with the Delhi-based independent media portal, Newsclick, the wire reported. The Wire quoted officials from the organiation saying that the houses of the owner Prabir Purkayastha and editor Pranjal were raided by the Enforcement Directorate. The ED has said that the raids were conducted on NewsClick after an alleged money laundering case. At Least 11 injured in Road Accident in Rajouri, 2 Critical

At least eleven persons were injured in an accident that took place at Khawas Latti area in Rajouri district on Tuesday morning, officials said. Two of the injured persons are critical, they told the news agency. They said a vehicle (Tempo) bearing registration number JK02AL-9145 was on way to Rajouri from Khawas Tehsil headquarter, adding that the vehicle turned turtle and fell into a roadside gorge at Latti area, resulting in injuries to eleven persons. “The mishap took place at around 07 AM on Tuesday morning,” officials said, adding that all the injured were evacuated by locals and shifted to hospital for treatment.
