One more militant was killed in the ongoing gunfight that broke out on Friday in Bandpawa area of Chitragam Tehsil in south Kashmir's Shopian district. Sources said that one more militant was killed in the gunfight, With this killing, the death toll of the militants in the encounter has reached three A team of Police, Army’s 44 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area. Meanwhile the Jammu Kashmir Police has said that both militants hiding inside mosque in Meej area of Pampore have been neutralised. An Encounter broke out between government forces and militants at Bandpawa area in Imam Sahib area of Shopian  district on Thursday afternoon. A Security official told The Kashmiriyat that a cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched in the area by joint team of forces including 44 RR, CRPF and Shopian Police on specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area. In an encounter that raged early morning in the Sugoo, Handhama area of Shopian, Four Militants have been killed so far and one more is believed to be trapped at the site of the encounter, a Security official told The Kashmiriyat.
