Cyber Police Kashmir on Wednesday issued a public advisory, warning people against sharing or uploading content related to security deployments and ongoing operations on social media platforms.
The advisory stated that such actions not only compromise public safety but also pose serious risks to the success of security efforts in the region.
Authorities stressed that individuals found violating these guidelines will face strict legal action under relevant laws.
“Exercise responsibility. Sharing operational details endangers lives and public order,” the police said in a statement.
Officials have reiterated the need for public cooperation to ensure safety and prevent sensitive information from being misused.
