IED Recovered in Dadsara Tral, Defused

Security forces recovered and defused an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Dadsara area of Tral in South Kashmir's Pulwama district. A police official told news agency- Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an IED was detected by joint team of forces at Dadasara area of Tral on late Thursday night which was later destroyed by the bomb disposal squad. Grenade lobbed on security forces in Sopore, 01 CRPF man injured

A paramilitary trooper of CRPF was injured after suspected militants hurled a grenade towards security forces near SBI Bank in the main town in North Kashmir’s Sopore district. A 4-year-old child was killed in a grenade attack on the house of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader in Jammu Kashmir's Rajouri district on Thursday night. A police officer said that 36-year-old Jasbir Singh and five members of his family received injuries in the attack.
