August 02 Two Local Militants have been reportedly killed in the encounter that had raged in the Khumriyal area of North Kashmir's Kupwara District on Thursday. The Militants allegedly opened fire when Indian Army laid a siege around a forest area in Khumriyal, Kupwara after which a brief gunfight raged. Two Militants were killed, but the media initially reported, it was a group of Infiltrators, however later it has come into notice that the two Militants are both Kupwara Locals. One of them has been identified as 28 Year old, Bilal Ahmed from Shat Muqam area of Lolab in Kupwara District of North Kashmir. August 02 two Unidentified Militants were killed in a gunfight that erupted in Khumriyal area of North Kashmir's Kupwara District on Thursday. Sex Racket Busted in Srinagar-7 Including 2 Army men Arrested

August 01 The Jammu Kashmir Police has claimed to have busted sex racket in Srinagar and arrested the accused from Bemina on Wednesday. Detailing the incident, Police said that acting on a specific information, police raided the Hamdaniya Colony in Bemina and arrested two ladies, four male including two local Army personnel and kingpin of the said racket. 06 Drug Peddlers arrested by Jammu Kashmir Police

July 31 The Jammu Kashmir Police claimed to have arrested Six people on charges of drug peddling in two separate incidents in Samba and Rajouri districts of Jammu Kashmir. In the first incident, a car was intercepted by Jammu Kashmir Police last night at Sunderbani area in Rajouri district and three people were arrested with 18 grams of brown sugar, Police said. In the second incident, three persons were arrested in connection with peddling of 20 grams of heroin in Samba district. They were identified as Surinder, Abhishek Sharma and Ajay Sharma.

Body of Mudasir Handed Over to Family-Stone Pelting Clashes in Barzulla

July 31 Intense Clashes have erupted in the Barzulla area of Srinagar on Tuesday between the youth and Government Forces.
